Pendleton Center for the Arts Presents Sam Marroquin: Dwell.
Through the structure and architecture of the “house,” Marroquin explores our relationship with ourselves, each other, our homes, and the natural world. These works reflect on information, where and how we receive it, and the authorities that control it or influence us.
What does "dwell" mean to you?
Along with regional artists, The Pendleton Center for the Arts has also hosted exhibits by artists such as Enrique Chagoya, Ellsworth Kelly, Louise Bourgeois, Chuck Close, and other selections from the Collection of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation.
Located in the heart of Eastern Oregon, the beautifully restored 1916 Carnegie Library building overlooks the Umatilla River at the north end of Pendleton’s charming downtown.
